Directions

From the South:

Follow A85 to Oban. As you go through Connel, Turn left to go over the Connel Bridge, signposted A828 to Fort William. Immediately after crossing the bridge, turn right, signposted to North Connel and Bonawe.

Follow the road for nine miles. You enter the village of Bonawe and pass a primary school on your left then some houses on your right. Follow the road up the hill, past the Episcopalian Church on your right. Follow the road down the hill. Ben Duirinnis House is immediately on your right. You may need to drive past the gate and turn around at the post box to go through the drive and the wooden gates.

From the North:

From Fort William, follow the A82 to Ballachulish. Take the A828 signposted to Oban. At the village of Barcaldine, take the B845, a small road to the left signposted to Bonawe. Follow this road through Barcaldine Forest and over the hill (stunning drive with great views of Loch Etive as you go over the hill). When the road forks, turn left to Bonawe. Follow the road for another 3 miles.

You enter the village of Bonawe and pass a primary school on your left then some houses on your right. Follow the road up the hill, past the Episcopalian Church on your right. Follow the road down the hill. Ben Duirinnis House is immediately on your right. You may need to drive past the gate and turn around at the post box to go through the drive and the wooden gates.
